To create opportunities for long-term street youth to make lasting changes in their lives by finding jobs and maintaining a safe place to live.

Provides leadership and support to its members in creating and supporting a high standard of affordable housing throughout British Columbia. The Association provides opportunities for learning and information sharing among our membership, promotes continued provision of new affordable housing, and advocates for the highest possible standards of non-profit housing management.

Builds self-esteem to move forward and to work on literacy and life skills. Gives people the opportunity to build their skills, share their experiences and knowledge, and learn from one another.

A program that takes in the most vulnerable of our neighbours, and tenders to them the tools of self-reliance. Each resident will proceed through a five-step process, including job training, adult education, personal counselling, child care and responsible housing.

Operates Bethlehem Place, which provides affordable, transitional housing for singles and families who require support to gain the skills and stability necessary for successful independent living. Services include individual counselling, weekly support groups, and life skills programs.

For homeless people looking to secure a residence and who wish to seek out the supports to get back to the independant living while continuing to obtain support services from our Aboriginal or mainstream agencies. We offer emergency shelter, as well as supportive and transitional housing, life skills programs, education and job training, referrals, and counselling services.

Offers an integrated, multi-faceted service to individuals and families facing crises or needing longer term support to improve their lifestyle. The focus of the services is to support those with the least access to resources in greater Edmonton so they can be as self-reliant as possible.

Offers a day centre called 'Chez Pops,' an emergency shelter (Le Bunker), and a mobile unit which circulates at night in downtown Montreal. The focus is on service to youths and young adults (12 to 25 years), including a drop-in program, emergency housing, meals, clothes, mental health interventions, assistance for families, adult education, nursing, and socio-economic re-integration of clients.
