Provides second stage housing for women coming from abusive situations. We own and manage 22 safe homes and provide a drop-in centre where women can access counselling, support, advocacy, information, referrals and programming. We continue to offer outreach services to women and children who have left our safe housing units.

Provides residential and support services for at-risk youth and their families, with the goal of reintegrating youth back into their communities and (where appropriate) their families.

A temporary shelter for women with or without children who are experiencing abuse in their intimate relationships. We also provide support, food and emergency clothing, advocacy (legal, medical, financial), counselling, and group and individual support.

The Association has purchased 16 supportive housing units for large Aboriginal families. The intent is to provide long-term housing, creating a stable environment. Support services include regular visits and supports by Amisk, as well as links to other community services (drug and alcohol treatment, education or physical or mental abuse counselling), and visits from referring case workers if required.
